I’m Daniel Bryson, the musician and technician behind Tunes by Daniel, and I am a Memories Specialist.
What's that, you ask? It is a fair question. To me, the title of Memories Specialist captures the idea that everything I do with music - whether playing a glowing bride down the aisle, filling a crowded room with a tapestry of elegant sound, sharing the simple delight of remembered pleasures to a gathering of the elderly, or replacing disonnance with beauty on a beloved piano - is driven by the passion within me to foster a compelling reason to find or make memories for every person in the room.
As a child I had very little interest in making music, apart from the small harmonica given me by my beloved grandpa. My musical journey had its formal beginning around 2002. I developed an interest in the piano, which my parents supported by providing lessons with a local teacher. At the same time I joined the church choir as a tenor. The next few years saw a series of experiments on various instruments, including cornet, clarinet, organ, ukelele, viola, and guitar, none of which lasted apart from the same ubiquitous dozen guitar chords everyone knows. Things took a unique turn in early 2004, when I discovered the piano accordion.
I make my home near Lapeer, Michigan, with my lovely wife and four lively children. From there I proudly serve Lapeer, Genesee, Oakland, Livingston, Macomb, St. Clair, Shiawassee, Saginaw and Wayne counties. References provided upon request.
